Yesterday I came across this old magazine advertisement in the local collectables store in Orange, CA. It immediately caught my eye as a classic. This ad is so bizarre that it could have only come out of the 80s (1984 according to the fine print).  Since when did Camel become the preferred cigarettes amongst gay cave explorers and rope-ladder, tight pants guys? I can imagine some young professional suit thinking that advertisement plan up all by himself and thinking he was the coolest thing since ice cubes. Anyways, I’ve gotta put this on up a wall somewhere eventually.
